Meet Gina
Founder Gina Abakians is passionate about storytelling.
Gina graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. At Cal, she refined her writing style, learning to form each sentence clearly and conscientiously.
With her diligence and meticulous attention to detail, Gina transformed The Writing Tutor from a freelance side gig to an ever-growing team of accomplished writers and editors. As lead college application advisor, Gina is honored to bridge knowledge gaps for immigrants and first-generation Americans.
In her limited spare time, Gina enjoys reading, watching French films, and volunteering at Homenetmen Glendale “Ararat” as a board member.
